The Multicore Fan-In/Fan-Out Optical Waveguide uses proprietary femtosecond 3D laser direct writing to create low-loss conversion devices for high-density optical interconnects. Internal structures, channel count, mode-field conversion, pitch, and arrays such as 4 x 4 or 7 x 7 can be customized.
